- Deformities of the great toe and the lesser toes are commonly seen in our foot surgery practice.
- Toe problems of this nature include painful corns, hammer toes or claw toes, overlapping or deviation of toes, arthritis of the toes, toe nail deformities and nerve related toe deformities.
- Some of these conditions may be effectively treated by non-surgical means but in most cases the deformities are progressive in nature or painful and patients are exploring the option of having their toe deformities surgically managed.
- The treatment of multiple toe deformities can be complex and Dr Bothma will discuss non-surgical and surgical options comprehensively with you before a treatment plan is finalised.
