- A high foot arch occurs naturally in many feet but may be associated with childhood foot deformities, nerve related problems or arthritic conditions.
- A painful high foot arch should be investigated, especially so if the arch increases in height over a period of time or if there is in-turning of the foot.
- Dr Bothma will do a physical examination of the lower extremities with x-rays and frequently, additional examinations may be required.
- Treatment will depend on the nature and severity of the problem. This will be discussed in detail with you.
